Pilates is a unique series of physical exercises that help to correct muscular imbalances and improve posture, coordination, balance, strength, and flexibility as well as to increase breathing capacity and
organ function. We perform the Pilates exercises in the order they were designed to perform them in for the best results based on Joseph Pilates. This class can work for beginners to advanced do to knowing
modifications and basics to grow upon. Pilates strengthens and lengthens the muscles and body. In the class (or in private sessions) I will also show pictures of the muscles so the students can relate the
exercises to their body and everyday movement easier. It is excelent for the neurological system and great for stroke recovery, MS and other neurological challenges. Pilates is powerful for all ages, from Teen to Seniors. Each student gains Core Strength and the whole body working as a Unit
in strength. Pilates Strengthens and Lengthens the muscles
Pilates is also excellent for those who play sports.
